My Largest project at WHNT, a fully custom graphics/branding package encompassing news animations, fullscreen graphics, lower thirds, transitions and templates.

Process

This was a collaborative effort between me, graphic designer Maci Guthrie, and the Creative Services Director Becky Shores who took on the roll of Art Director. I was the project lead. We started by looking at several other TV station graphics packages and chose elements that we liked to inspire the design of our elements.

I designed and animated most of the templates, Maci helped with iterating all of the different versions that had to be created and was a great sounding board for ideas.

The package was in use from 2015 – 2020.
